Clarks signature walking shoe. Incorporates our Active Air system in both the midsole and footbed to keep your foot comfortable, cool and dry. Its slip resistance and durability provide stability and long term wearability. This shoe is lightweight, shock absorbant, and returns energy. It reduces the foot lift load and eases the walking motion. The supple, breathable leather keeps the foot cool and dry, and no break-in is necessary. Features a molded rubber outsole, PU active air midsole, tumbled full grain leather uppers, and a padded tongue and collar.

When I was a young man, my parents came back from a trip to England and my father had a couple of new pairs of shoes that he said were the best he had ever worn. Being a "know it all twenty something" I ignored him and did not think about the shoes he started wearing that summer until about ten or twelve years later when I started having some trouble with pain in my feet. When I started having this problem with my feet, I remembered my Dad telling me about these shoes he had gotten in England, and that he was still buying them every other year or so. I remembered that even a few of my relatives had started wearing them because of my father's recommendation. Being a much more mature thirty something, I called my Dad and asked him to remind me of the name of the infamous, now famous shoes! Of course, he told me they were Clarks of England. I told him about my foot problem and he agreed that Clarks would help, but he was afraid I would not be able to buy a pair. Back then, they were not easy to find in the U.S.A. My Dad said he was still taking orders for Clarks, from friends and relatives, before he would take a trip to England every so often. Dad was not going to England for almost a year so I started calling shoe stores around the state and was surprise to find one store in Phoenix that actually did sell the Clarks Air mover. I bought it sight unseen over the phone and they mailed it to me, when it arrived I opened the box and thought, "Why in the world did I spend more money than ever for a pair of shoes, that I have never even tried on!" However, within the next few minutes, I did try them on and my stress level went way down, and within the hour, I was wondering why I had not bought these Clark shoes way before now. They really were more comfortable than any shoe I had ever had, and they did keep the pain away while I walked around the room that day and ever since. Now after 20 years of wearing Clarks Air Mover shoes exclusively, I do not understand why more people are not wearing them too! They are the only shoes that I can wear with no pain! In fact, they give me comfort that I do not have in bare feet. That is right; I prefer to wear my Clark Air Mover shoes then no shoes, because my feet are more comfortable in my Clarks then out of my Clarks. With Amazon.com's return policy, I would tell everyone to try these shoes out; you have nothing to lose but pain and the possibility of gaining a lot of comfort.
