~gorgeous shoes!- but they are cut so low at the inside toebox that they cannot support front or lateral movement without cutting into the interphalangeal* joint of the foot (*that's the widest part of your foot before your big toe begins) I purchased two pairs (black and silver)and each was sized and crafted differently; different in length but both were undersized at the inner toebox side in their height, cutting into the most important comfort area for a high heeled pump. If the maker's had added just an eighth of an inch at the most important side, the interphalangeal joint bone of the foot would be supported. As it was, the shoe cut right into the side, and being sequinned, not only will they be limited in stretch, they also won't grow in height to cover the bone of the foot. Both of the pairs I purchased were beautiful and sparkled fashionably, but on the foot the shoe was painful just standing and admiring myself ;-) I would say they are about a half size larger in length than the true size, so order down a half size. The silver is a bit theatrical, but the black is elegant and gorgeous and perfect for formal wear. I just couldn't wear mine without red marks from the ill-fitting side-such a shame as I normally love report signature shoes! If these were comfortable I would have given them five stars! ~Cheers!
