I've been wearing Caterpillar boots for 11-12 years and will continue to do so. I use them as work boots throughout the week, putting 1-2 miles on them daily (walking on concrete, asphalt, wood, dirt, brick, tile, steel, grass, cobblestones) and wear them until they break in half or there is no more tread on them and I start to slip. I'm averaging 2-3 years in every pair. I usually get the Advance w/ Steel Toe, but these seemed like they would be more comfortable and they are. Everything I expect from Caterpillar has been delivered in this boot: comfort, traction, looks, safety, and durability (5 weeks so far). The only issue I have with this style is that they "Squish" when walking on tile floors? This is the first pair that has done that, but not really a show stopper.
