I have been shopping for awhile for a new pair of sandals that are good for my feet. I looked at Birks, but the prices were way out of my range and they cannot get wet. That means that if it were raining or going to rain I would not be able to wear them. I live in sandals during the warmer months of the year and so I need something that I can wear rain or shine. Once I tried on the Crocs I knew I had found what I had been looking for. I bought the all black pair. They are so comfortable and only get more so over time. The foot bed is what I would describe as a bit squishy. It cradles your foot and absorbs shock. There is a nice amount of arch support to them as well. The heel cup helps my foot stay in place. I love the little nubs that cover the entire foot bed. They are not painful like some other similar products I have tried on. They massage your foot while you are walking. I have only had mine for a week and already the foot bed is molding to my foot and they are getting to be so comfortable I do not want to take them off. Even on days when I have had a lot of walking to do they have come through and my feet have not ached like they used to in older sandals I have owned. One of the worst things for your feet, in my opinion, is standing still and these are great then too. I have read that a shoe should feel perfect when you first put them on and that you should never buy a shoe with the idea that you are gonna break them in. From the first moment I put on these Crocs they felt amazing. I wear a size 9, but can run a half size up or down depending on the shoe. These ran true to size 9 for me and fit perfectly. I also really like that the strap is made of mesh and the part that goes in between your toes is wrapped is soft leather so you do not get any rubbing or irritation that you might find in ones with rubber or plastic straps. I love them and would recommend them to people who love their feet.
